The purpose and scope of the Conference

Craftsmanship is an indispensable part of every economy, every society. It has its own dimension not only economic but also educational, social, sociological, historical, ethical, cultural, etc. Its role and importance have been significant in the foregoing aspects for ages. It is an important factor of socio-economic development. Although craftsmanship is usually associated with tradition, handicraft, but the fact is often overlooked that it is also a precursor in the implementation of many modern solutions in the field of introducing modern technologies for the production of goods, also by implementing many inventions or other innovative activities even if in the way of education. Craftsmanship is ultimately the field of the economics, which employs hundreds of millions of people worldwide; it is millions of business entities that are a pillar of economic development of many cities, regions and countries.
Bearing in mind the above, we cordially invite you to participate in the conference and to prepare the articles describing the functioning of craftsmanship as well as organisations and institutions associated with it in the local regional national and international dimension.

Important dates:

  • 20 April 2019 – The deadline for sending abstracts of papers (abstracts should be written in English)
  • 05 May 2019 – Sending information about the acceptance or rejection of the paper
  • 19 May 2019 – Deadline for registration and payment of the Conference fee
  • 07 June 2019 – The date of the Conference
  • 08 July 2019 – Deadline for sending full articles

Conference fees:

Participation in the Conference is free of charge
Fee for the review and the publication of the submitted article – PLN 200 (for doctoral students we offer a discount of PLN 100).
Accommodation - we can help to find a hotel if you need it (Conference organizer does not cover the cost of accommodation).

Publication:

The article sent by the author / authors after receiving a positive review will be published in the post-conference monograph
